FAMILY THERAPY revolves around a family, Slovenian nouveau riche, living in a glass house, which exudes an air of detached superiority. This serves as a satirical backdrop for a humorous reimagining of the Pasolini's “Teorema" premise: when a young stranger arrives at the family household, the delicate balance of the family's dynamics is disrupted, revealing a world of chaos hidden beneath the surface.
The story delves into dysfunctional relationships, including Olivia's overprotectiveness, Aleksander's escapism, and Agata's secret beneath her wig.
With her third feature, Director Sonja Prosenc, combines comedy with her distinctive artistic vision, creating a unique cinematic experience, exploring contemporary social issues in a tragi-comedic tone.
