When Ashish is summoned to his childhood home, he discovers termites are eating at the house from the inside. He calls an expert to check in on the situation. The inspector uses a microphone to listen to the termites through the walls. That night, Ashish struggles to sleep outdoors. Restless, he wakes up and goes back into the house. As he opens up an old closet, he discovers a termite mound that leads us into the underworld of termites. As the day progresses, the house, and his memories, seem to be on their last leg.
An otherworldly soundscape helps to get us in the mind of Ashish as he lives in purgatory, awaiting the final collapse of his childhood home. The dread, the fear, and maybe the relief, are all clearly weighing on his conscience while nature takes its course.
