Ella is a 34-year-old theatre costume designer involved in a long-term relationship with Assaf, a respected but married director. When Assaf dies unexpectedly, Ella is the last to hear about it. Everyone knows that she was Assaf’s mistress, but no one thought that she would dare show up at his house alongside other mourners. During the Shiva (seven days of mourning in Jewish tradition), Ella keeps coming every day. She gets closer to Natasha, Assaf's widow, and intimately close to Dan, his brother, who reminds her of her dead lover. It all comes to an abrupt end when Natasha realizes who Ella is.
Director Ma'ayan Rypp’s debut feature is a dark, comedic coming-of-age story about a modern single woman. The film is "an elegant and empathetic portrait of that most vilified of female characters"(Screen Daily).
