While trying to get some takeout dinner at a family-owned restaurant in Little Haiti, visiting Haitian-American Jean is confronted by his lack of connection to the local language and culture. A young woman, serving as translator, quickly sweeps him into a vibrant party. Sometimes to find love in this world you need to connect with cultures that made you who you are today.
