Samet, a young art teacher, is finishing his fourth year of compulsory service in a remote village in Anatolia. It's a tough locale that only seems to experience two seasons. Samet longs to return to a teaching post in Istanbul. However, when he is accused of sexual misconduct by a pupil, any hopes of escaping his gloomy conditions seem unlikely. Will Samet's encounter with Nuray, a female teaching colleague, help him to overcome his disillusionment?
