We all know that most kids are cute and funny, but what is that “special something” that results in a career on camera? How does it happen? What should you know before you start looking for an opportunity for that amazing kid? 

ACTRA Branch Representative Tina Alford, Jayson Marshall from The Characters Agency and some special young guests will take you through how the business works for child actors. You’ll learn what to watch out for, where the opportunities are, and how to get your kid involved in what can be an exciting but overwhelming industry. Learn about everything from how casting works, to how to look for a good agent, to how to record an audition at home. The industry in Calgary is growing - now is the time to find out how your talented child can be a part of it!
