A man who loses his legs in the Boston Marathon bombing must recover and adjust to his new life circumstances.
Jeff Bauman (Jake Gyllenhaal, NIGHTCRAWLER) was near the finish line of the Boston Marathon in April 2013, cheering on his girlfriend (Tatiana Maslany), when a homemade bomb tore through the crowd - blasting apart his legs below the knees and necessitating a double amputation.
