Alison belongs to a troubled family in Castlegar, BC. Searching for her missing brother, she sets in motion a string of murderous events.
Alison and her younger brother, high schooler Brandon, live in the mountain town of Castlegar, British Columbia, where they carry the burden of their father who is in prison for the murder of a local resident. When a body is found and Brandon goes missing, headstrong Alison searches for him, fearful that he has been murdered as well. Her search unleashes a series of events in which sister and brother are threatened and must run for their lives in the surrounding wilderness.
Originally from Castlegar, director and writer Scooter Corkle returned to his hometown to make the film, enlisting some of the local residents as actors, in addition to Dianna Agron (GLEE, Calgary Film 2017 selection NOVITIATE) in the lead, Canadian Shawn Ashmore (X-MEN), and Calgary International Film Festival alumnus Jared Abrahamson (2016's HELLO DESTROYER and 2017 selections SWEET VIRGINIA, GREGOIRE and NEVER STEADY NEVER STILL).
