Gord, a remote American operator of a pipeline-guarding robot, is fascinated with Ayusha, despite the distance between them.

In this thoroughly unconventional modern love story, Gordon (Joe Cole), an American robotics operator, is tasked with guarding a pipeline thousands of miles away in the Middle East - a job that he undertakes with the help of a six-legged "spider" drone. In due course, he discovers the beautiful and mysterious Ayusha (Lina El Arabi), a young woman from the area who is being forced into an arranged marriage with an older man that she does not love. Despite the distance, fear, and one-sided interaction, Gordon is determined to do everything in his power to help her escape her fate.
