A project about myths turns terrifying when a trio of students realizes that many of the legends around New York's Buckout Road may be real.

Between Westchester and White Plains, New York, there is a small rural stretch called Buckout Road. Home to an inordinate amount of terrifying urban legends, it is considered by many to be the most haunted road in America. This is the setting for Calgarian Matthew Currie Holmes’ first feature, a fun and shocking thriller that pays homage to the midnight movies of the '80s while still freshening up its genre.

Aaron Powell (Evan Ross, THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY) is a soldier, newly home to his distant but brilliant psychiatrist grandfather (Danny Glover, LETHAL WEAPON). Contributing to that distance is the recent suicide of one of his patients, Stephanie Hancock (Mayko Nguyen), a beloved college professor who has left behind many grieving students. One of them, Cleo (Dominique Provost-Chalkey, WYNONNA EARP) is now exhibiting symptoms similar to those of Stephanie before her death: nightmares, sleepwalking … and a persistent dread of something evil on Buckout Road. As things spiral out of control, Aaron and Cleo have to find out what is waiting for them out there – on the terrifying, yet supposedly empty, stretch of road in Westchester County.
