Artist Michael Markowsky spent five years convincing the Canadian military to let him sketch while flying in an F-18 fighter jet. In 2013 he was finally given the opportunity – but not before undergoing rigorous training at CFB Cold Lake, in Northern Alberta! The film provides us with an insight into Markowsky's unique artistic process and the extreme physical pressures faced by all pilots at super sonic speeds.
