In this star studded film, actresses Ellen Page (JUNO, INCEPTION) and Evan Rachel Wood (TRUE BLOOD) play two orphaned sisters living in the wilderness who discover the world around them is on the brink of apocalypse.

Informed only by rumour, the duo must fight off intruders, disease, loneliness and starvation to survive.

In this dystopian drama, the women face their fears, which are both human and animal, as their survival depends on it. They learn that even when worlds fall apart, families stick together.

The Canadian drama written and directed by Patricia Rozema (MANSFIELD PARK, WHEN NIGHT IS FALLING) is based on a 1996 book of the same name written by Jean Hegland.
