Seven months pregnant, Jennifer Branagan (Emily Goss, in a wonderfully empathetic performance), reluctantly returns to her hometown in Kansas after an unexpected mental breakdown. Coping with her fears of motherhood, a strained relationship with her husband, Luke (Taylor Bottles), and the overbearing presence of her own mother, Meredith (wickedly played by Cathy Barnett), Jennifer struggles to regain control of her life.
But when strange things start happening in their rental home, Jennifer begins to fear that it may be haunted. Alone in her convictions, Jennifer is forced to question her sanity as she attempts to find out what, if anything, is plaguing the house.
This intensely creepy, nail-biting second feature from brothers Austin and Aaron Keeling, is a good old-fashioned psychological thriller that will make audiences question everything they see. Shot in an 1840 house (that purportedly came with its own ghostly lore), THE HOUSE ON PINE STREET delivers non-stop suspense and big-time scares.
