Borrowing elements from Greek mythology, H. tells the story of two women named Helen – one middle-aged and childless; the other young and pregnant – and their spouses living in the town of Troy, New York.
After an apparent meteor strike, strange things begin to happen all around them: noises tear through the sky, water seems to flow upward, and people are disappearing by the dozen.
Pulled from their normal and quiet lives and unable to coast through their days any longer, the two women struggle to cope with the unbelievable events and their grip on the world loosens in this 2015 Film Independent Spirit Award winner.
