On a mission to renew peace following a drawn out war, a band of cultural misfits defy the armed forces and declare Jalalabad, Afghanistan a city of love.
Internationally renowned filmmaker, artist and long-time war correspondent, George Gittoes (producer of The Act of Killing), captures progressive Afghans and allies as they establish an artist run centre in occupied lands.
Relaying a message of love, unity and creative experimentation, the group uses film as an alternate means of stemming social change.
