Ex-musician Justine doesn’t have much to sing about: she works at a horribly boring, dead-end job; she lives in her deceased grandmother’s house (and even wears her clothes); she is circling the drain in a toxic relationship. But things in her life start to change, and new opportunities rise up – if she can muster the courage to pursue them.
With a new outlook, she begins to chase her true passion of music once more, and soon realizes that the rhythm of every song is like the heartbeat in her chest: reliable, comforting, and oddly reflective of the world around her.
