When Taylor agrees to house-sit for the neighbours, she thinks nothing of inviting her boyfriend Ben over to enjoy a weekend alone. Without realizing it, the two of them also invite an unwanted presence into the house. A mysterious force threatens to destroy the couple, and the true nature of the terror leaves the couple face to face with a grim reality.

Directed with creepy efficiency by Kruno Malnar, Kept is a Calgarian take on the haunted house genre. In Malnar's hands, the city's suburban settings take on a distinctly unsettling tone. As the strange occurrences begin to stack up, Taylor and Ben find themselves in the fight of their lives against a force they can't even begin to understand.
