18A - Crude Coarse Language & Nudity.
Is there any subculture as misunderstood as the peeping tom? Long written off as the last resort of lonely perverts, there’s more to these misfits than meets the eye, as director and co-writer Seth W. Owen proves in his debut feature film, PEEPERS.
Starring an array of up-and-coming Canadian talent, including Joe Cobden (I’M NOT THERE), Jessice Paré (HOT TUB TIME MACHINE) and Calgary ex-pat Paul Spence (FUBAR), PEEPERS follows a troop of dedicated window-lookers as they scour Montreal’s nighttime skyline for “panty parties” and “hottie hookups,” all while staying true to the ancient “peeper code.” When a university professor (Janine Theriault) starts peeping on the peepers, her presence puts the whole group at risk. But when the voyeuristic thrills start getting in the way of academic curiousity, the situation quickly spirals out of control.
The first full-length production from Montreal’s Automatic Vaudeville Studios, PEEPERS is a sweetly raunchy comedy that never lets up. Come catch a glimpse, before they catch a glimpse of you.
