More than 30 years after the release of the most shocking, disturbing and controversial rape-revenge thriller of all time, Meir Zarachi’s 1978 cult horror film DAY OF THE WOMAN has been remade. Directed by Steven R. Monroe and produced by the original director, this new I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE is a courageous, intensely disturbing, highly anticipated horror film that stays true to the vision of the original.
In a remote cabin in the country, young author Jennifer Hills (Sarah Butler) has decided to escape from the city to write her latest novel. Not too long after she arrives, a group of local skids notices her, and that she is alone, beautiful and isolated. Soon after, Jennifer’s nightmare begins: with brutal violence, she is raped repeatedly, humiliated and left for dead.
But when the attackers think she is long gone, Jennifer returns for revenge. One by one, she traps the men who attacked her, inflicting physical torture with a merciless vengeance.
Be warned: This is not for the faint of heart. If you feel queasy, close your eyes!
