Tina Alford, Branch Representative for ACTRA, will be leading the conversation with performers Autumn Dang, Leslie McMichael, and Pardeep Sooch.

Tina Alford is the Branch Representative for The Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA). She has been an active member of the Alberta Screen Industry for over 20 years and is a passionate advocate for local performers.

Autumn T. Dang is a first generation Canadian of Chinese and Vietnamese descent. Her love for acting began as a young adult, and she has trained at various reputable institutions such as the Company of Rogues Actors' Studio, Toronto Academy of Acting for Film and Television (TAAFT), and Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She has also starred in various independent productions, including the web-series Ginger Beef by Eunice Hau and the film Tomato Can for Panoramic Media.

Leslie McMichael, PhD has been a stunt performer since 1996 and a stunt coordinator since 2015. Her performing specialties are: martial arts, wire work, driving, fire and stunt acting. Leslie often works as a team with her husband Steve in and around the Calgary area. With a PhD in Media Psychology, Leslie has been studying the effects of serial concussions in stunt performers and creating awareness in the stunt community.

Ever since Pardeep was little, he made it a life goal to try to do everything he possibly could before kicking the bucket. Being born and raised in Calgary, he never would have dreamt of being part of a flourishing film industry. However, once he became an extra in a movie to check off a bucket list item, he’s still here 8 years later acting in commercials, television, and movies!
